  • Full Day Edinburgh Sailing Experience

    Sailing Experience Days: This Edinburgh sailing excursion is a truly exhilarating
    experience, and a fantastic way to spend a day as you explore the
    Fife coast, visiting some of the famous bridges and picturesque
    islands that punctuate the Firth of Forth.
    Upon your arrival at Port Edgar Marina you will meet your RYA
    Yachtmaster who will give you a full safety briefing, introduction
    to your catamaran, and a coffee before departing the harbour.
    As you set sail, you’ll head off under the iconic Forth rail and
    road bridges, before circumnavigating the islands of Inchcolm,
    Inchmickery and Inchgarvie. You’ll sail on to Inchkeith, where the
    boat will moor and you will enjoy your lunch. After lunch, you’ll
    make your way back to Port Edgar.
    Throughout the day, you will be encouraged to get involved with
    the sailing – but if you prefer to, you can simply sit back and
    relax or try to spot some of the beautiful porpoises, seals and sea
    birds that call this river home!

    a photograph. You will learn how to overcome difficult light

    built-in flash to best effect. You will finally move on to talk
    about the aesthetics of a great photo; what the rules are, and when
    or why you could break them. You will learn about composition and
    framing to create interesting and beautiful shots, before heading
    off into the charming Peak District town of Bakewell to put theory
    into practice! Take photos of the gorgeous countryside and pretty
    town, using all the new tips and tricks you learned during the
    first part of the photography lesson. You can have your photos
    appraised at the end of the day if you wish, but for those of you
    who feel a little self-conscious, there is no obligation! You will
    receive a comprehensive booklet to take with you that explains
    everything you learned during the day, so even if you forget
    something, you can easily go back and brush up.
