  • Porsche Driving Experience

    Supercar Experience Days: Drive a Porsche 911 for 3 laps to experience the
    ultimate in peak-performance and super-car style. This Porsche driving
    experience is one for the most sophisticated of petrol heads – the
    911 is widely regarded as the epitome of luxury sports cars.

    Its style is instantly recognisable and has stood the test of time,
    having changed little since its 1963 launch. And its power? Well,
    we could go on about its 3 litre flat-6 engine, its 320bhp
    rear-wheel driving, its precision handling and incredible balance –
    but it’s really something that is only understood from the drivers
    seat.
    Tracks are in Wigan, Leicestershire, Wiltshire, Surrey and Bicester – well-maintained and with a number of
    different track options, depending on driver ability. A fast main
    straight allows for some pedal-to-the-metal fun, and there are
    chicane and corner complexes to let drivers really put the
    Porsche’s handling to the test.
    After arriving at the centre (at least 15
    minutes early please!) you will be welcomed and registered. You
    will be offered tea or coffee, and will then attend a ‘classroom’
    style briefing, where the instructor will cover safety issues and
    driving techniques. Next up is a circuit tour, where you are taken
    around the track by a dedicated instructor so that you can
    familiarise yourself with the circuit and know what to expect when
    you are the one behind the wheel!

    After this, it’s your chance. Get in the driver’s seat and tear
    your way around 3 miles of superb
    track, getting a proper idea of what these supercars are capable
    of. Once you have driven your laps, you will be debriefed and
    receive a commemorative certificate – a little memento to mark your
    marvellous day!

    Supercar Experience Days: Drive a Supercar – and then drive three more!
    This Supercar driving experience is an incredible 3/4 hour driving
    experience that puts you in the driving seat of some of the
    greatest cars in the world! Drive a Ferrari, a Porsche 911, a
    Subaru Impreza and a Lotus Elise, and pit them against each other
    as you make an informed decision on which one is the best to
    drive!Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your
    day will begin with a thorough safety briefing covering all aspects
    of the track and the four great supercars that you are to be
    driving on this track day. After registration, tea & coffee you
    will be ready to get your racing gear on and begin the day by being
    let loose behind the wheel for 3 laps in control of the Ferrari 360
    before taking control of Germany’s finest; the Porsche 911 for
    another 3 laps. If that wasn’t enough of a treat you will move onto
    the ultra powerful, 4 wheel drive Subaru Impreza for a further 3 laps. You will finish the days driving in fine British style as you
    are let loose in the Lotus Elise for the final 3 laps. Once your
    laps are complete you will end the day with a hair raising ‘Hot

  • Under 17’s Motorsport Academy Drive & Licence in Hertfordshire

    Driving Experience Days: Think you need to be over 17 to drive a car? Think again! With
    the Under 17’s Driving Experience in Hertfordshire, you can get
    behind the wheel of a dual controlled Mazda MX5, learning the
    basics of driving and having some fun on a purpose-built track.
    The experience is operated by one of the top driving companies in the country, so you’re in safe hands during this licensing session. On arrival, the day begins with a registration, the instructor takes you out for a demo lap before you hop straight into the driver’s seat to go over clutch control, steering, braking, and general rules of the road.
