Speedboat Experience Days: This is a unique opportunity to see the sights of London from
your own privately chartered powerboat as you cruise along the
river. You will have 50 minutes on the water with up 12 friends and
family as you make your way along the river past famous landmarks,
but this will not be a Venetian style gondola ride! These are very
powerful RIB boats capable of 30+ Knots!
Once you have arrived and been welcomed onto the Pier, you’ll be
equipped with a life jacket and wet weather gear before stepping
aboard the RIB powerboat. Your tour will begin at Embankment Pier
and travel passed London’s popular landmarks, including the HMS
Belfast, London Bridge and Shakespearer’s Globe, before you pass
under Tower Bridge and the excitement really starts! Feel the
engines roar as your captain speeds down the river on an aquatic
rollercoaster ride. Once you’ve reached the heart of the financial
district, Canary Wharf, you’ll turn round and head back to
Embankment Pier, where the experience comes to an end.
This is a fantastic experience for London tourists and locals
alike, and makes a fun day out to share with the family!

required, this is the perfect taster for the complete beginner!

introduction to fly fishing. Your qualified instructor will run
through the basic skills, beginning with how to thread the tackle
and flies, seasonality of trout fishing, reading the water

will receive tips and advice throughout your course to ensure you
progress quickly and your techniques are correct. Your experience
will draw to a close with a de-brief, before heading back to the
cabin to return your the fishing gear.

experience the centre will happily package and clean them up ready

White Water Rafting Experience Days: Take to the waters for the must-try activity of White Water
Rafting and experience a water sport like very little else. The
frightening aura of White Water Rafting goes hand in hand with it’s
‘must try’ status, as the thrilling water sport involves a great
deal of involvement from its brave participants. In groups of up to
8 you’ll be manning the 14ft raft down a range of hairy and scary
waters, working together to keep the boat upright and you inside!
White Water Rafting is an excellent team building or party
exercise, as it truly is a fantastic combination of fear, reward
and team work…and fantastically good fun.Once you have arrived
and been welcomed to the centre your White Water Rafting Experience
will start with a briefing about safety and the White Water Rafting
techniques. Then, once briefed you’ll be donning your safety gear
and hitting the water as you begin the adrenaline pumping activity!
Your qualified guide will take you and your fellow rafters down a
varied white water run in the inflatable six-eight man raft. You
may get more than one run depending on the conditions and time.
Each boat is guided by an expert instructor with vast experience in
White Water Rafting.

Sailing Experience Days: The RYA Start yachting course in Brighton is perfect for beginners who want a hands-on introduction to every aspect of sailing. While out on the beautiful waters off the Brighton &
Hove coast you’ll be under the watchful eye of an expert
instructor as you discover the thrill and tranquillity of sailing.
By the end of your action packed weekend, you will have also gained
the RYA ‘Start Yachting’ certificate that counts towards the

you are at the helm of a 20ft speed boat! As you rip around the
shores off the south coast you will be learning everything you need
to know about powerboating. You will cover aspects from the Level 1
course but in more detail and extra manoeuvres as well as the man
over board recovery procedure. finishing this course will allow you
to hire powerboats and is the qualification you will need if you
wish to peruse a career in water sport coaching.Once you have
arrived and been welcomed to the centre your RYA Level 2 Powerboat
course will begin with a safety brief and introduction to the boat
/ instructor that you will spend the next 2 days with! Spread over
two days, the course offers a huge range of the necessary skills
for owning or hiring a powerboat; From the excitement of high speed
handling to the satisfaction of completing a maneuver well, whether
it is coming alongside or a practice ‘man over board’ recovery. The
course also covers a lot of information regarding boat safety,
including equipment to carry and the collision rules. You can also
use your level 2 qualification to gain the ICC certificate (approx
cost £27 including 1 year’s subscription to the RYA) for vessels up
to 10m.
