  • Glass Making Taster – Aylesbury

    Glass Making Experience Days: This great introduction to glass making is the perfect way to
    gain an insight into this ancient art and learn some of the skills
    and techniques that have been used for hundreds of years. The
    taster will begin with the basics of safety including the basic
    skills to shape hot glass from the furnace. With a maximum of four
    students per instructor, you will get plenty of hands on time
    learning how to use the state of the art tools and machinery to
    create a bespoke glass pieces to take away such as a paper weight.
    No experience needed just curiosity and enthusiasm!Once you have
    arrived and been welcomed to the centre the taster experience will
    begin with a welcome and safety talk before getting introduced to
    some of the tools and how to use them. You will quickly move on to
    collecting molten glass from the furnace and working under the
    watchful eye of the master glass maker. You will then learn how to
    shape and add colour. With help for the instructor, you will be
    able to utilise the skills you learnt to create your own piece. The
    session will end with a glass blowing demonstration from the
    instructor.
    Please note: Your piece will be sent to you after the experience as
    it will need to be fired in the kiln for hardening at a cost of
    £20.

    the most extreme of adventures – as you and your jump partner await
    the jump master’s call. Once ready, you’ll hobble over to the crane
    and be lifted up to a height of 300ft where the jump master will
    instruct you to tuck your head either side of each other’s shoulder
    and call 3-2-1…bungee! Next, the inevitable drop will consume you
    with fear and adrenaline as you drop an incredible 300ft down to
    the ground before recoiling back up and down until the jump is
    finished and you are lowered back to safety. Once landed, you will
    have the option to purchase the DVD and photos of your jump.

    Off Road Experience Days: This fantastic off road driving experience is perfect for
    everyone from complete beginners to experienced drivers as you will
    get to try your hand at a wide variety of incredible off road
    vehicles. The day is split up into morning and afternoon session
    with a break for lunch at the local pub (included). You will
    experience 3 different vehicles in each session including 2 types
    of quad bike, 4×4 buggies, skid steers and Land Rovers.Your full
